Our team at 1708 Media believes that powerful stories deserve more than just great visuals, they deserve a thoughtful, strategic approach from start to finish. That’s exactly what we brought to our recent collaboration with the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation (TSAHC), an organization committed to helping more Texans achieve the American dream of homeownership.


Together, we created a campaign that didn’t just highlight TSAHC’s impact, it showcased real families whose lives have been transformed by the programs and support they offer.

End-to-End Partnership: From Discovery to Final Edit


Our collaboration with TSAHC was a true partnership. From project launch, we supported them across every stage of the project:


  • Discovery & Messaging: We worked closely with TSAHC to understand their mission, goals and the audiences they wanted to reach.

  • Pre-Production: We helped identify potential customers to feature, reviewed questionnaires, conducted pre-screen interviews and collaborated with TSAHC to select the best candidates.

  • Production: We filmed on location in the homes of three families, capturing half-day shoots full of meaningful moments, emotional sound bites and footage that felt real and lived-in.

  • Post-Production: We scripted, edited, and iterated on each video collaboratively with TSAHC, ensuring every piece reflected their message and met their goals.


The Deliverables: Flexible Assets with a Clear Message

This project was designed for multi-platform flexibility. TSAHC needed short, compelling videos that could drive awareness and educate viewers.


The final deliverables included:

  • Two 30-second testimonial commercials

  • Two 15-second cutdowns

  • Two 6-second spots for social media


Each version was carefully produced to ensure emotional impact and message clarity - no matter the runtime.


Maximizing the Moment: Capturing Future Content


One of the most important aspects of this project went beyond the scope of the initial deliverables. TSAHC knew it wanted to produce additional assets in the future and take advantage of its access to homeowners on this project.


While on-site, our team made a concerted effort to capture additional footage, from extended interviews to lifestyle visuals and supporting content. That footage now gives TSAHC a rich content library they can tap into in the future without having to schedule additional shoots. This approach allowed us to:


  • Stretch the impact of their production budget

  • Give them future flexibility for new messaging

  • Build long-term value from a single campaign
