ATLAS Fellows
We created an emotionally powerful short film for ATLAS Fellows to premiere at their NYC Gala, profiling one Fellow’s journey from a Brooklyn family business to a career in finance and driving donor support in the process.
Fundraising Mission Video
Our Approach
ATLAS Fellows is a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to careers in finance for students from underrepresented backgrounds. As part of our extensive work with mission driven organizations, 1708 Media partnered with ATLAS to produce a fundraising video for their annual Gala at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City.
The video tells the story of Kaylee, an ATLAS Fellow whose journey embodies the organization's mission. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Kaylee is the daughter of immigrant parents who run a produce business to support their family. With their encouragement, and the support of ATLAS, she earned a spot at Cornell University, completed a summer internship in Manhattan and secured a role on Wall Street.
Our team handled the full production process, including:
- Story development and storyboarding
- Pre-interviews and character development
- Multi-location filming at Cornell, in New York City and at her family’s Brooklyn business
Through this narrative, ATLAS aimed to highlight the transformative power of opportunity and inspire donors to fund future Fellows. The result is a cinematic, emotionally charged piece that reflects not just one student’s path, but the broader impact of the ATLAS mission: the new face of finance.
